Conditional sentence yang satu ini dipakai untuk mengingatkan wacana sebuah konsekuensi yang harus dilakukan kalau menginginkan sebuah kondisi terjadi.

Conditional sentence jenis ini dipakai untuk memperlihatkan saran wacana apa yang seharusnya dilakukan kalau menginginkan sebuah kondisi terjadi.

Mom    : Why do you look so pale Jeanny?

Jeanny : Hmm I’m sick mom. I may get headache.

Mom    : Ok, If you want to get better soon, you should get some medicine and take a rest.

Jeanny : Thanks mom.

Contoh 2

Anna    : I really like cooking, but sometimes I don’t know what to cook. Do you have any idea?

Jessy   : If you need to know some cooking menus, why don’t you search it in internet?

Anna    : That’s a good idea. Thanks

C. If Clause sebagai Imperative

Conditional sentence pada fungsi ini dipakai untuk menyuruh seseorang melaksanakan sesuatu kalau menginginkan sebuah kondisi terjadi.

Mom    : What are you doing Jean?

Jeanny : Hmm I’m doing nothing mom. I just want to take a bath but the whether is so cold.

Mom    : If you want not to be late, take a bath soon!

E. If Clause Untuk Menunjukkan Dream

Conditional sentence yang satu ini biasanya dipakai untuk menyatakan sebuah mimpi di masa depan wacana apa saja yang mungkin terjadi kalau sebuah kondisi terjadi pada si pembicara.

Mom    : If I am elected president, I will build some apartments for all poor people in this country.

Jeanny : Really? I wish you luck to make your dream comes true.
